Pemberley Only You Layout

I just dropped by kids off at school for the day and have the house to myself for a little while. These rare moments of quiet make me appreciate everything more.

Today, I have my final Pemberley layout to share with you.
"Only You" Layout
For the left page, I used 3 1/4" x 5 1/4" photo mats. And for the right page, I used 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" photo mats. We had a sheet of Indian Corn Blue carstock left over in the kit that could be used for photo matting, but to keep things uniform, I used White Daisy. I found inspiration for this layout at http://luv2createscraps.typepad.com/paisleysandpolkadots/2011/12/december-releases.html. Here is a link to the inspiration photo.

Products Used:
Pemberley WOTG Kit
Pemberley Stickease
White Grosgrain Ribbon
White Daisy Cardstock

Please stay tuned tomorrow to find out what products you need to order to be able to create these pages at my upcoming workshop on May 5th. Have a nice day!

Pemberley Sew Perfect Layout

Good morning! We are having a beautiful, sunny day here in Northern Michigan!

Here is my second Pemberley layout, as promised:
"Perfect" Layout
I found inspiration for this layout at http://www.pagemaps.com/images/2012/04apr/pagemaps/apr12_12x12dbl.jpg. Photo sizes are 5x3, which is perfect for me because I take mostly vertical pictures.

Products Used:
Pemberley WOTG Kit
Pemberley Stickease
Neutral Embroidery Floss
White Daisy Cardstock

I have also submitted this layout into a challenge that is exclusively Close To My Heart. It is called Heart2Heart Challenges, and this week's challenge was stitching. If you've been following my blog for a little while, than you've picked up on my love for stitching. I find it to be very calming at the end of a hectic day, and it's something that I can do sitting in front of the tv with my husband. If you would like to participate in this stitching challenge, you can click this link to enter.

Tomorrow, I will be showcasing Pemberley layout #3. Thanks for stopping by.

Pemberley Natural Beauty Layout

I am in love with our Pemberley kit. Blue and Yellow are very popular right now.

When trying to decide what layouts I wanted to create, I admit to spending a huge amount of time researching suggested layouts all over Pinterest and other sites. I really wanted to showcase the beauty of the papers. Below, is the first layout we will be creating using the Pemberley Workshop On The Go kit.

Mojo Monday Meets Tuesday Trigger

Mojo Monday meets Tuesday Trigger, and they lived happily ever after....

LOL Okay, well...here is the Mojo Monday Sketch that I used as my template.

For those of you that have been following me for a while, you know that I like to participate in the Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger challenge every now and then. Here is this week's Tuesday Trigger image:
I was inspired by the little birdies immediately. Instead of "cheating" with the Cricut AP cartridge to create my little bird, I decided to use my retired Fill In The Blank stamp set. Sometimes, a girl just needs to get inky.
I love how it turned out.

If you would like to play along with either of these challenges, go to Mojo Monday blog and/or Moxie Fab blog for more details on how you can participate.

Products Used:
Emporium L2 Paper (Retired)
Fill In The Blank Stamp Set (Retired)
Potential Stamp Set (Retired)
Card Chatter - Sympathy Stamp Set
Chocolate & Crystal Blue Inks
Mocha Pearl Opaques
Cocoa Ribbon
2" Scallop Circle Punch
Neutral Embroidery Floss

Have a great night!

Mojo Sketch #234 Birthday Card

A good friend of mine just celebrated a birthday last week. I made him a special one-of-a-kind card.
The card was patterned after one of my favorite lines from Dumb & Dumber. So the inside of the card reads, "Check out the hooters." Yeah, it's that kind of card, for that kind of friend. LOL

Products Used:
You Rock L2 Paper (Retired)
I'll Love You Forever Stamp Set (Retired)
Card Word Puzzle Stamp Set
Chocolate & Outdoor Denim Inks
Watercolor Pencils
Blue Sparkles
Your Rock Accessories (Retired)

Thanks for stopping by today.

Sonoma Card Box

Hello! I hope everyone had a nice Easter weekend. We had a great time. My 3-year-old daughter said yesterday "That Easter Bunny sure is tricky." And my 5-year-old son sat and discussed with me all the possibilities of how the Easter Bunny gets from house to house so quickly.

Last week was Spring Break for our household. Today is our last day, in fact. I wanted to share with you, today, a card box that my friend Kelly created using Sonoma paper. I helped her with the stamping and measuring and she did the rest.

Products Used:
Sonoma L2 Paper Pack
Recipe/Card Box
Pewter Embellishment Pack
Mocha Pearl Opaques
Chocolate Ribbon
Olive, Chocolate, Desert Sand & Smokey Plum Inks
Roxie WOTG Stamp (Retired)

As soon as Kelly finished her box, she opened it up and put a handful of cards that she had made at some of my workshops. A prouder teacher couldn't be found, I'm sure.

Have a wonderful Monday!
